Being a parent of multiples is a unique experience. Our organization provides the link to others who have had similar experiences. Our membership provides invaluable resources such as child care recommendations or shared nanny services, organizing meal trains when needed, linking members with support services for special needs, or simply providing another set of hands to come hold a baby or two, to name just a few.
Included with membership dues, all PoMS members are also members of the Northern California Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs and Multiples of America, also known as the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc.
Our membership is great about helping out those in need. We can provide meals, diapers, donations of clothing or gear, or holiday dinners and gifts for those who need a little extra help.
PoMS hosts four seasonal social activities for the whole family! We have a park social in the Spring, a swim social in the Summer, a costume party in the Fall, and a holiday party in the Winter!
Get together with families with similar age children for play dates at home, a park, indoor play facilities, zoos, FairyTale Town, and more! Or leave the kids at home and plan some adult-only interaction!
Join us for an evening out with fellow parents of multiples on the fourth Tuesday of every month (excluding December). Our PoMS nights (a.k.a. our general meeting) are filled with socializing, activities, an optional potluck, and a little bit of club business. If your children are 6 months old or younger, or nursing infants, you are welcome to bring them with you. There are usually lots of parents willing to help by snuggling an infant.
Members receive access to our Facebook community which includes a public general support page, a private members-only chat group, and a members-only shop & swap page.
PoMS is dedicated to the support and education of families with twins, triplets, and higher orders of multiples.
Parents of Multiples, Sacramento (PoMS) (formerly Sacramento Mothers of Multiples) was founded in 1969 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a member of the Northern California Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs, and a subordinate of Multiples of America, also known as the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc.
